It’s Gourd Arts and Crafts!!!

TIME: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Don't Forget:  Bring your show and tell gourds

Lunch:
Please bring a covered dish for lunch.

meeting SCHEDULE

 Some of the members come by from time to time to just visit or do some new technique. All are welcome anytime.
 
July 10 – Complete Show Centerpieces and Basket Making.  We will be finishing the table
decorations and hopefully we will be well on our way to having our own entries ready.

August 14 – Power carving ocean design and filigree.  Reggie will teach a power carving class.

September 11 – Chickens and other critters. Sandy will be teaching chickens and other creatures made with Makins' Clay.

October 9 – Pumpkins, cats, or jack-o-lanterns.  Sandy will be teaching creatures made with Makins' Clay with pumpkins, black cats, ghosts.

November 13 – Gourd and Reed Cornucopia plus fruit and vegetables.  November is the time for Thanksgiving and bounty so we will learn to weave a cornucopia and add several fruits and vegetables.

December 11 – Santa Ornaments using a variety of clays
