"Our gourd artists are also skilled other areas of arts and crafts.  This year the Georgia Gourd Society offers our artists the opportunity to show those other talents, but with a gourd connection.  We will host our second Gourd Photography competition, as well as Gourd Representations, and Gourd Craft Tutorials. 

 

Our first Gourd Representation competition is open to all forms of art and crafts: paintings, quilting, textiles, jewelry, ceramics, garments, furniture, weaving - BUT each object must feature gourds as the subject matter.    

 

Georgia boasts many great gourd art teachers.  Here is a chance to be recognized.  Enter a written Gourd project tutorial and an example of the finished product into competition.  Teachers, it is your time to shine! "
